Verstappen
After watching the crash between Verstappen and Hamilton at the weekend you have to ask if Verstappen is becoming a danger to other drivers

Hamilton was clearly ahead into the turn yet Verstappen didn’t break and proceeded to hit the curb and his car’s rear bounced on top of Hamilton’s Mercedes. The Halo saving Hamilton’s head from being crushed.

Now I know they had a coming together in an earlier race which Hamilton received a time penalty yet was able to finish the race where Verstappen hit the barrier and his race was finished.

The Stewards have punished Verstappen with a penalty of 3 places at the next race but he is becoming reckless.

Someone is gonna get seriously hurt if they let it continue.

Read earlier that he accelerated mid air and at the point of impact with Hamilton’s head
Had his differential not been damaged and those wheels responding it would have been curtains
And once stationary got out and fucked off without checking on LH
I neither like Hamilton nor the sport but blimey, it’s all a bit off

It looked like he might even have given Hamilton a few words as he went past. His head was definitely turned in his didection

Re: Verstappen
When he doesn't give space, he's uncompromising, When Hamilton doesn't he's lacking professional courtesy.

His first thought was to make a comment on the radio for the benefit of the stewards and the media. None for the fellow professional in the car underneath.

The just walking off without checking on Hamilton says all you need to know about the petulant prick

Re: Verstappen
Laughable stuff, but entirely predictable

Hamilton ran him off the road a few weeks back and it was a racing incident. Went on to celebrate like a lunatic whilst verstappen was still in hospital.

Now, of course, verstappen is a danger and not very nice because he didn't check on him.

They are both arrogant pricks

The only one who seems like a decent bloke in the whole shitshow of a 'sport' (its traffic not sport) is Sir Daniel Riccardo.
Nice win , Daniel SON

And who was the most vocal critic of the introduction of Halo ?

Yep, Mr Hamilton.

Best result would be both of them fucking perish in an enormous fireball, the pair of horrible cunty spoiled kids that even Willtell wouldn't touch up.

Got to agree with you here Sven, I also always like Mark Webber and what he has to say…..

Re: Verstappen
I'm loving it. Love the needle. Love the competition.

If Hamilton backs off and let's him through, like nearly every other driver would, including the 'nice' Mr Ricciardo, then Verstappen will have Hamilton's number and he might as well retire. But Hamilton doesn't give a fuckin inch, even though he knows it could get nasty. And indeed did get nasty. A couple of inches away from decapitation.

Say what you like about Hamilton and Verstappen, but they've both got balls of steel.

Re: Verstappen
I love the bone headed stupidity
Verstappen ends up in the hospital one week and Hamilton ends up with a car on top of his head the next.
Am sure we will get all the usual sobbing cliches when one kills the other ..... or they both fit in a matchbox after a fireball bbq's the pair of them.

This is getting to Senna/Prost and Schumacher/Hill/ Villeneuve territory.
Verstappen and, to a lesser extent, Hamilton appear sort of OK with crashing if it takes the other guy out.
If Verstappen is ahead in the championship at the last race and the two are dicing the end result is inevitable.

Zeb,

If it’s all to play for in the final race it’ll be interesting.

Motosport beats cricket hands down in the boring and dangerous stakes.

There's a certain art to combining the two, I have to admit.

It’s not a sport, and it’s full of wankers. Even more than golf, which is quite an achievement in itself.

Russ of the BML 10:14 Tue Sep 14
Re: Verstappen
The overtake was there for him to try and achieve. Loads of drivers overtook in the same spot that day. It's just one of those things. If Verstappen had slowed slightly more and Hamilton had given more room then they go round without a hitch, but they didn't and so what happened was the inevitable conclusion.

If it was another two drivers from back down the grid it would be a racing incident. As its those two then people make more of it. It's like all the great rivalries down the years, when they come together it's magnified.

Exactly. It's great. People moan the sport is boring when it is boring. Then when it gets exciting people like Nutsin moan its dangerous.

The blokes driving those cars are a different breed. They have no fear. It sometimes causes crashes. That's part of its pull.

Re: Verstappen
I'm not an F1 man, but I can get why many do like it. I've never really been interested in cars, so probs why. Back on topic, I do think that this rivalry is good for the game, like a modern day Prost/Senna. Lauda/Hunt. Let them kill each other for all I would give a fuck.

I have been triggered by your comment, but I cant be offered to offer an argument.

A bit off tangent, but Christian Horner comes across as a complete FIST.
